Join us Saturday, September 11, 2010 for the
1st Annual Pooler 5K:  Race for Warriors

The First Presbyterian Church of Pooler and the Pooler Police Department are organizing a race to benefit the Warriors in Transition Unit at Fort Stewart.

A 5K and Family Fun Mile Run will be held. 

Communities like Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon and Savannah are filled with families who value our military and all they do to protect our freedoms as Americans. We encourage you to come out and race or cheer and then enjoy the post race festivities. Proceeds will go to support the Warriors in Transition program at Fort Stewart. Grand Prize:
Daniel Defense has announced that the runner with the overall fastest time will win a Daniel Defense M4 Rifle.
The winner must be at least 18 years old and pass ATF restrictions to win the rifle.

Use this website or pick up a registration form at The First Presbyterian Church of Pooler,
the Pooler Police Department or Fleet Feet of Savannah.

Here is the route of the 5K

Family Fun Mile Run  
    (run or walk, strollers welcome)
       $20 per family before the day of the race
       $25 per family on race day
Shirts are guaranteed to all who register before the race.

The Family Fun Mile Run starts at 8:00 am

The 5K starts at 8:15 am

5K Awards

Top three female and male winners in each division will receive awards.

Age Divisions: under 15, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, over 64

Post Race Party

There will be free food and concessions for those who have participated in the race.
